It was a sad day in Altofonte, Italy when Calogero Scimeca was accidentally shot in the head. He was the wedding photographer for Valentina Anitra and Ignazio Licodia. Scimeca had suggested using guns as a prop for the photo album because firing guns has been a old tradition at weddings and festivals in Italy for many years. The bride and groom's .22-caliber rifle discharged during the photo shoot striking Scimeca killing him instantly.
